A Great Afternoon at Shiloh
Posted by: | CommentsThis past Sunday, about 60 people from Echo Lake took the long trip (joking- it’s right here in West Milford) to Shiloh Bible Camp to enjoy a beautiful afternoon together. We built bird houses, some went for a hike, some did archery, we had a great dinner and finished up with S’Mores around the campfire.
Many thanks to Jon and Sandy Frank, their family and staff for making our afternoon so wonderful!
Please continue to pray for the ministry at Shiloh- especially as they continue to work on the new gym.

Cheerful Givers this Wednesday
Posted by: | CommentsCheerful Givers is a great ministry here at Echo Lake. The main purpose of Cheerful Givers is to teach our children the importance and joy of serving others. We do this by creating a project (from making a craft to baking something), wrapping it up and bringing it to someone– perhaps someone who lives alone or in an assisted living facility. Our children will also be starting a “Pen Pal” program with a church in Montana and supporting a child through World Vision.
The key verse that guides us is this:
Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 1 Timothy 6:18
There is an “Open House” for Cheerful Givers this Wednesday, March 7, at 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.
Sue and Mark Lynch are going to be sharing about their visit with their “World Vision” daughter, getting our children ready to support a child.
If you have any questions, please contact the church office, we hope you can come out and hear about the joy of serving others!
