Posted by: | CommentsWe will be joining here at Echo Lake to share what we are thankful for- and I really can’t encourage you too much to join us.
Parents, it’s a great way to train up your children to teach them to express their thankfulness to God- and it’ll be wonderful for you to lead them by being thankful.
Preparations for the turkey can wait- let’s get together to thank God.

Wow that’s a lot of boxes!
Posted by: | CommentsHere’s an update for you: last week we said that over 75 boxes were being shipped to children all around the world for Operation Christmas Child.
We were wrong. Sorry.
There are actually over 90 boxes!
Thanks to all who helped with this mission, let’s be praying for each child who will receive one of these boxes. As reported last week, we’ll be tracking over 50 boxes, so we’ll let you know where they wind up.
Christmas Boxes Ready to Go!
Posted by: | CommentsThank you to all who helped with our Operation Christmas Child mission- we have assembled and gathered about 75 boxes that will be shipped around the world to children to bring them some joy this season. Special thanks to the children and families from VBS 2011 who donated many of the wonderful gifts!
We will be tracking the shipment of 50 of these boxes, so we’ll know where they wind up. Keep an eye open for updates as we find out more information.
Please join us for worship tomorrow as we will be praying for the children who will be receiving these in the coming weeks.
