The Boxes of Love, our partnership with Star of Hope Ministries in Paterson, are being picked up next week- so please bring your full box back to church this Sunday!

The Operation Christmas Child Boxes, where we send presents to children around the world in shoeboxes, are being put together this Sunday after worship. Please bring a bag lunch, we’ll share lunch and put the boxes together!

Come to the church at 8:30 am on Saturday- we have some cleaning and maintenance projects we’d love your help with- can’t do heavy lifting? That’s okay, come anyway, there’s something for everyone to do!

This Saturday, October 22- 6:00 pm- join the fun for our Annual AppleFest!

This is a pot-luck dinner (so please bring a dish to share)… and then the fun begins… because we will continue our Apple Dessert Contest! If you’d like to enter, make your favorite dessert that has something to do with apples and bring it along to be entered in the contest.

Want to have first taste of ALL the desserts? Then be one of our judges!

Don’t miss out, this is going to be a great opportunity for some fun and fellowship.

Our Annual AppleFest- which is a pot-luck dinner and apple desert contest- is coming on October 22, 6 pm in Fellowship Hall.

Please plan on bringing a dish to share for the meal, and if you’d like to enter our apple desert contest, start baking!

Also, we need some judges for the desert contest… this means you are not only the first to have desert, you get to sample them ALL!

We are partnering with Star of Hope Ministries in Paterson once again this year to provide Boxes of Love. How do we do that?

This Sunday, take a box home, fill it with the groceries on the list that comes with the box, and bring it back to the church.

These boxes are then distributed to families in Paterson through local churches.

So please, get a box and share some love!

We are excited that a new opportunity for our children is starting tonight at 6:00 in Fellowship Hall. This is for children in kindergarten through 8th grade.

The theme verse for this program is 1 Timothy 6:18-

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

Our desire for our children is that they would learn to love and serve others- which is our desire for all of us!- and our goal for this program is to provide opportunities to serve and share with others.
