There’s still time to give to the Christmas Offering
Posted by: | CommentsYes, Christmas has passed, but you can still contribute to our Christmas 2010 Offering.
This offering will be shared with St. Joe’s Food Pantry right here in West Milford and go to help families going through some tough times.
If you would like to give a gift, please earmark it “Christmas Offering” and we’ll add it to the total. Thank you very much!

Christmas Invitation from Echo Lake Baptist Church on Vimeo.
It’s funny. When I was taping this clip, the traffic was buzzing on Macopin Road. When I started to edit it, the noise of the cars and trucks really bothered me, until I realized how symbolic that is also. In addition to the cold, the hurry and noise all around us can distract us from the true message of Christmas.
I do hope that you will be able to join us to enjoy some peace and quiet- God bless you this Christmas!
Christmas Offering 2010
Posted by: | CommentsEach year we take a special offering during our Christmas Eve service that goes to some sort of special need or project.
This year, the leadership of Echo Lake has decided that this offering will go toward supporting St. Joe’s Food Pantry and helping some local families in need.
Please be generous as we share the love of Christ with others this Christmas!

A big thank you to all who came out on Monday to help decorate our sanctuary! We are so blessed to have a beautiful space to gather together to worship – and we hope you can join us this Sunday. This is the third Sunday of Advent, and the teaching will be “Does God Still Speak?” We hope you can make it!
Pastor Lewis Terry
Posted by: | CommentsWith great sadness, but also with the hope of eternal life, comes the news of the passing of Pastor Lewis Terry from this life into Glory. Pastor Terry and his wife, Mary, served Echo Lake with compassion and wisdom during an interim period and had a profound impact on many in our church family.
Please pray for Mary and her family, for God’s grace and peace to be evident to all.
