That’s right, we’re getting ready to install our new carpet in the sanctuary, and the first step is we are redesigning our platform. It will be slightly bigger, but the biggest improvement is that it will have better steps up the platform. It sure is exciting!

Hey, join us for some fun at Waywayanda State Park this Sunday after church. We meet at the park after worship (if you need a ride, let us know) and then we claim a section with tables and grass to play lots of games, eat lots of food and have lots of fun! We hope you can make it!

Our children’s classes will resume next week during worship. If you would like to serve as a teacher or helper, please give the office a call and we’ll let you know how you can get involved.

It’s going to be a great year!

New Series Starting This Sunday

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Well, Labor Day is over, summer is gone, school has started and it’s a great time to start a new series in our teaching during worship.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be studying “What It Means To…”

This week we’ll see what the Bible has to say as we consider “What It Means To Be A Christian.”

In future weeks we will consider what it means to be a church, what it means to worship, what it means to pray, what it means to use your gifts and other topics.

This is going to be a great learning time for us with some surprises along the way!

We hope you can join us!

ELBC Office Vandalized By Intruder

Posted by: | Comments (0)

On August 13, sometime during the night, the Echo Lake office was broken into

and turned upside down by an intruder.

The damage was extensive and took many hours to clean up.

Police were not notified.

Fortunately, the masked vandal was apprehended and removed from the property.

Many thanks to all who helped clean up after this unexpected visitor!

He has not returned… yet…

Can You Lend a Hand?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Carol and Chris Colie are moving this week- and we’d like to lend them a hand.

If you can help them move on Saturday morning, Sept. 4 (that’s this Saturday), we’d love to have the help!

Meet at the church parking lot at 9:30 and we’ll head up together.

Any questions, drop us a line!
