That’s right, next week Brian is headed to summer camp to serve as the Camp Pastor for almost 300 children and staff. While he is gone, one of our deacons, Vaughn Young will be speaking this Sunday, and if you have a need or concern, please call the church office. And while you are at it, please pray for Brian and the whole camp that God would protect and show these children how much He loves them!

For the first time ever, our online registrations have filled up our VBS 2010 week! That’s right, we have over 70 pre-registered for our week of fun and learning. If you did not get an opportunity to pre-register, please email us at office@echolakebaptist.com or call the church office to be put on our waiting list.

We are gathering a team of people who will be willing to pray for our VBS 2010. We’ll send you updates and items to pray for during the week, and you can be part of our adventure by praying for us! If you’d like to be a part of this team, please call the church office or drop us an email.

Wisdom- it is something we all need, and sometimes it is hard to find. We’re beginning a new series this weekend on wisdom: Lessons to Live By. We’ll be looking at some of the Proverbs to see what wisdom is and how we can have more of it. Come on out to worship this weekend!

We are looking into a new ministry, and we’d like to know if you would like to be involved.

Our Little Lambs Playgroup would provide an opportunity to get together once a week, have some play time, a story time, devotional time for parents and of course, a snack time.
