Memorial Day- a day for us to remember those who have served us and given themselves so that we could live in freedom- is often looked at as just an opportunity to start off the summer with a big party. As you head into this weekend, we encourage you to take time to consider how we can be thankful for our freedoms, and what it has cost to have them.

And don’t forget that real, true freedom only comes from God, so take the time to come to worship this Sunday!

Carol and Matt Wallasky’s young grandson, Alex, is going in for surgery on June 15, and is in need of blood donors. If you would like to serve in this special situation and donate some blood, you’ll need to go to Morristown Hospital by June 8 and let them know it is for Alex when you donate. Please call the church office or email us, or you can speak to Carol or Matt  if you want information or instructions. Thank you very much!

We are holding our next planning and preparation meeting for VBS 2010 on Monday, June 7. If you are able to help with VBS this summer, or if you just want to check it out, please join us for this important meeting. We’ll gather at 7:00 in Fellowship Hall.

Hey Guys, we’ll be gathering for another great time at the West Milford Airport Cafe at 8:00. Bring your appetite and your work clothes, because for those who are able we’ll be going to our Spring Clean Up Day right after breakfast!

We’ve been putting it off because of weather, but it looks like it is going to be a nice day Saturday, so please come out and we’ll spruce up the church. Please note, we’ll start about 9:30 after the Men’s Breakfast. Any questions, call the church office.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and we’d like to invite you to join us for worship and then stay for a reception to honor our mothers and the women of our church.

Join us at 8:00 this Saturday, May 8, for our Spring Clean Up- there are projects of all kinds, and the best part is we have fun doing it!
